You are looking at a gorgeous 1950's era Electro Voice V-2 "Velocity" Ribbon microphone. V-2 series is about 3 times the size of the much smaller V-1 produced by Electro Voice. The painted body shows a minimum of wear, consistent with age and use. The E.V label looks fantastic...brand new really. The V-2 sits on it's original yoke / swivel and it works perfectly. Tightens nicely and keeps the mic at the desired angle. Very little wear on the chrome tightening screws. Both front and rear chrome screens are free of any tarnishing and actually glow much nicer than the pics show. All original components including screws.
I repaired the original XLR3 connection so the low voltage now runs through the original cable. Wall plug is included.
One of the largest mics ever made by E.V and certainly one of the most unique and collectible.
